Privacy Policy for Chickuline

Chickuline is designed as a private, personal keepsake journal for your warm moments. Your sheets, emotion color-bands, hinge selections, photos, and voice notes remain on your device under your control.
1. Information You Create in Chickuline
When you use Chickuline to score a sheet, mount a cutout to the garden stack, or stage a past keepsake, the entries you create are stored locally on your device. This includes:
- Daily sheet state (Blank, Hinged, or Mounted), emotion color-band choices, and hinge sides (left, right, or diamond).
- Short written notes and timestamps associated with your sheets and keepsake marks.
- Optional photos you select and optional short voice notes you record within the app.
2. Device Permissions
Chickuline works with or without media attachments. If you choose to attach media to a scored sheet, the app may request access to:
- Photos: Used only when you pick a picture from your library to attach to today’s sheet.
- Microphone: Used only when you record a personal voice note for today’s sheet.
You can manage or revoke photo and microphone access at any time in your device Settings. All selected photos and recorded voice notes stay on your device.
3. No Accounts, Tracking, or Third-Party Sharing
Chickuline does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide personal contact details inside the app. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share your keepsakes, photos, voice recordings, or usage activity with third parties, and we do not include advertising or analytics trackers.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
Because all Chickuline records and attached media live exclusively on your device, you retain full control over them. Before mounting a sheet, you can use Peel to discard today’s scored sheet. Removing the Chickuline app from your device deletes all locally stored sheets, cutouts, photos, and voice notes associated with the app.
