Terms of Use for Chickuline

Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using the Chickuline mobile application. By downloading or using Chickuline, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Purpose of the App

Chickuline is a personal, on-device keepsake application that lets you score daily warm moments with emotion color-bands, hinge sides, photos, and voice notes, mount them onto a visual paper stack, and revisit matching-hinge keepsakes in your garden and year collage.

2. License and Permitted Use

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Chickuline on a compatible device that you own or control for your private, non-commercial reflection and journaling. You agree not to copy, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute the application or its visual design elements except where permitted by applicable law.

3. Your Content and Local Storage

You retain full ownership of the notes, photos, voice recordings, and keepsakes you create in Chickuline. Because all content is stored locally on your device, you are responsible for maintaining backups of your device. Uninstalling Chickuline or clearing its local storage may permanently remove your saved sheets and mounted cutouts.

4. Not Professional or Medical Advice

Chickuline is an artistic personal memory keeper and is not a medical, psychological, or therapeutic tool. Nothing in Chickuline constitutes clinical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

Chickuline is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of locally stored data arising from your use of Chickuline.

6. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of Chickuline following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
